About me

After all the kid raising is over, we return to the things that made us people before the kids made us parents. Or, we find new passions to help us be new people. That is the life stage that I find myself in now, and I am enjoying the freedom it brings. I have created all my life it seems…repainting the table we saved from the side of the road before trash day, putting linoleum tiles down in the kitchen to make a house sellable, hemming the kids’ pants since height is not something I gifted them, crafting halloween costumes from foam and material and thread. All these little, informal, daily applications of creativity that don’t make it to an art gallery, but give you the courage to try the next level of difficulty. So here we are. Why not try to paint the flower? Or better yet, make a sculpture of the flower. Perhaps put it on a rock. How about burn it on a jewelry box? This is where I exist. Sometimes all of the above happening simultaneously in marathon weekend nightime arting binges.

As an artist, I do not limit myself to a single material, style, color palette, or theme. It’s kind of the Wild West over here…and I love it that way! After all, to me art is a way of experimenting with different materials to create experiences for the viewer. It is my opportunity to play and not follow rules…my fun. And then having someone connect with a piece, watching them see something that makes them feel a particular way, is my joy.

I have compiled here some of my completed artwork for your viewing enjoyment, sorted by medium. Each page has two parts, a current inventory section, and an archive of items that have been sold.

With that in mind, please note that you should see a menu at the top of this page that includes Acrylics, Oil Pastels, Photography, and Other projects. On a phone, it just looks like dashes in the page header. I haven’t figured out how to change that yet. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Each item currently available will display price, title, description, and size. I am happy to provide any other details you may require.
